OptiFlume bridges intention to intelligence for developers using AI coding tools. It is multiple systems in one install. The Efficient Router picks the most capable model at close to the lowest price for each prompt and switches it where the developer can see it, with a one-line reason. The Context Manager carries a long session’s goals, decisions and failed approaches through compactions and model switches. The Guardian keeps secrets out of what the agent reads, warns about or blocks destructive commands and calls out sessions going in circles. Adaptive Intelligence reads the code a task touches and learns how the developer judges difficulty. The developer always has the last word: any prompt can keep their own model. Everything is decided on the Mac, and OptiFlume never sends prompts or code anywhere. It works on macOS in Cursor, Claude Code and Codex, in the editor and in the terminal, with one license for every tool. It launched for Cursor on 18 September 2026 and added Claude Code and Codex on 8 October 2026.
