Pro free for 30 days. The Guardian stays free.

Sign in, no card. For 30 days you get everything in Pro. After that the free tier stays yours: the Guardian keeps working, the session watchdog keeps calling out loops whenever OptiFlume is on, and OptiFlume names a better-suited model when one exists, without stopping your prompt. Pro keeps switching for you and carries your context, for $6.99 a month or $69 a year; founding users keep that price.

Pro is US$6.99 a month or US$69 a year, plus any applicable tax, and renews each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account console; Pro continues until the end of the period you paid for, and on a yearly plan we refund the whole months you have not started. Pro is processed by Stripe through Managed Payments, with Link (a Stripe service) as the merchant of record: checkout, receipts and invoices come from Link, so your card statement shows LINK.COM* OPTIFLUME. How to keep your own model for a prompt, or pause OptiFlume, in each tool: Routing and overrides.

How the free trial works

Create your account with Google, GitHub, Apple or an email link, download OptiFlume, then connect your Mac from the OptiFlume note in your editor (or optiflume login in a terminal). No keys, no card. For 30 days you get all of Pro, and OptiFlume keeps a meter: what the prompts it switched would have cost on the model you had selected, minus what they cost on the model that ran, at published prices, counted only when Cursor’s own token counts were available. After 30 days automatic switching pauses. The free tier continues for as long as you like. Subscribe to keep switching automatically.

“Saved” is an estimate of what you did not spend, and is always shown as “about”. How it is computed.

Does Pro pay for itself?

It does when it saves you more than $6.99 in a month (or $5.75 a month on the yearly plan). You don’t have to guess: during the trial your console shows every switch it made and, in Cursor, a running count of what it saved at published prices, so you decide with your own numbers. Claude Code and Codex do not report token counts, so there your console counts switches but not dollars. Before you install, estimate it with the calculator.

Questions

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. Sign in and the 30 days start the first time a Mac connects. The trial never turns into a paid plan by itself.

What happens when the trial ends?

Automatic switching pauses and the free tier continues: tips on the right model, keeping your own model for any prompt, and the Guardian with its session watchdog. Subscribe any time to switch again.

Can I have the trial again?

The free trial is once per person, across Google, GitHub, Apple and email sign-in.

How many Macs can I use?

Every Mac you sign in on, on one account and one subscription.

Is the Guardian free?

Yes. The Guardian works on every plan, including the free tier, for as long as you use OptiFlume. Its secret and command checks keep running even while OptiFlume is paused or the Mac is signed out; the session watchdog runs whenever OptiFlume is on.

Do Claude Code and Codex cost extra?

No. One plan covers Cursor, Claude Code and Codex, in VS Code and the terminal.

Does it work on Intel Macs?

Yes. macOS 11 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel; the download picks the right installer.

How do I cancel?

In your account console: Billing, then Manage subscription. Pro continues until the end of the period you paid for, then the free tier.

What if I cancel a yearly plan?

Ask us and we refund the whole months you have not started; Pro ends when the refund is made. Or keep Pro to the end of the year, with no further charges.

Do founding users keep the price?

Yes. If you subscribe at $6.99 a month or $69 a year, that price stays for as long as the subscription does.
